Course to improve the leadership skills of female public officials, Training through visits by overseas female public officials

A society where men and women have equal human rights and skills

We aim to create a win-win society where the human rights of men and women are equally respected and the skills of men and women are equally manifested. We plan to do so by improving the gender sensitivity of public officials and strengthening their competencies in executing gender-sensitive policies to strengthen the competencies of the main entities that can realize a gender-equal society; educating local leaders and community committee members for the advancement of city administration; and providing education to improve the leadership skills of female leaders in public office, elected office, and the private sector.

competencies in executing gender-sensitive policies
Improve the gender sensitivity and leadership skills of entities that can bring
about the development of city administration, such as local female leaders and
community committee members
Improve the leadership skills of female leaders in public office, elected office,
and the private sector, and next-generation leaders

Program targets
Public office : Public officials of the city and autonomous districts, public officials in special public service organizations, employees of city-invested organizations, etc
Elected, appointed office : Municipal assembly and autonomous district members, members of various committees
Region : Leaders of women’s groups under the city and autonomous districts, members of the community committee, heads of dongs (subdivisions of a city’s district), heads of neighborhood associations, etc.
Private sector : Leaders and working-level officials at NGOs, occupation groups, life-long educational organizations for women, etc.
