Charter of Human Rights Management of

Seoul Foundation of Women and Family

 

 

The Seoul Foundation of Women and Family, as an affiliated institution under the Seoul Metropolitan Government, upholds the principle of prioritizing human beings and pledges to protect the human rights of all stakeholders, including employees, customers, partners, associated organizations, and the broader community. Aligned with this commitment, the Foundation embraces international standards and norms concerning human rights, thereby committing to the concrete implementation of these principles through the establishment of a Human Rights Management Charter.

 

 

1. Prevention of Human Rights Violations: We strive to proactively prevent human rights violations and diligently work towards remedies.

2. Non-Discrimination in Employment: We do not discriminate in employment practices based on race, religion, disability, gender, place of birth, political opinion, or any other grounds.

3. Freedom of Assembly and Collective Bargaining: We ensure the freedom of assembly and collective bargaining for our employees.

4. Prohibition of Forced Labor: We have zero tolerance for any form of forced labor.

5. Prohibition of Child Labor: We strictly prohibit child labor in any form.

6. Provision of a Secure and Conducive Working Environment: We guarantee a secure and conducive working environment for our workforce.

7. Transparent and Fair Dealings: We conduct transactions with partner organizations transparently and fairly, encouraging them to adopt human rights management practices.

8. Communication and Respect for Stakeholder Rights: We engage in open communication to respect and protect the rights of stakeholders associated with the Foundation, including employees, customers, supply chains, and local communities.

9. Enhancing Quality of Life: We strive to improve the quality of life for citizens, including women, children, and families, through citizen-oriented projects such as job support, childcare assistance, and the prevention of gender-based violence.

10. Environmental Commitment: We adhere to domestic and international environmental laws and regulations, working towards environmental protection and pollution prevention.

11. Customer Responsiveness and Data Protection: We promptly and accurately respond to customer demands while ensuring the protection of customer information collected during business operations.
